Alistair Baines, Cassidy and Ashton Architects

The Practice has worked closely with Sarah Galloway on a number of high profile projects during recent years. Of particular note was Sarah’s involvement in our award winning Palatine Library for Blackpool Council in 2007 in which she designed the artwork for a beautiful glass balustrade on a curved feature staircase. The design has received many accolades and stands as a tribute to the quality of design and craftsmanship that Sarah instills in all her work.

Andrew Gibbs, Sunfields Methodist Church

We were in the fortunate position when building our new church of having sufficient funds to commission Sarah Galloway to design and produce a substantial stained glass window, framing the communion table in the sanctuary and significantly enhancing the overall appearance of our building. It is worth emphasising both that the interior view of the work is effective in daylight, particularly in strong sunlight, and also that it is very striking when viewed from outside if the building is lit up after dark. We have had no cause for dissatisfaction with our choice of Sarah in the years since installation.

A good, direct professional relationship was established between Sarah as artist and ourselves as client early on. It persisted throughout the project and we continue to be very pleased with the work that Sarah Galloway has created for us.

Sarah designed a glass dividing wall for one of our Lakeland bedrooms, a highly creative and quaility artwork which was bespoe to our needs.  Sarah was a consumate professional and a joy to work with and the feedback and comments from our guests are extremely complimentary - it's one of our most popular rooms.

Martin Gordon, St Thomas with St Stephen Church

Sarah has produced a spectacular piece of contemporary glass artwork that has transformed the inside of our church. It is both an object of beauty and an aid to worship and lifts the spirits of so many people who enter the church building.

Sarah was an absolute pleasure to work with. In the consultation phase of the project she took all of the feedback from an opinionated congregation in her stride and actually welcomed it as part of the creative process. We couldn't have hoped for a better outcome.

Dr Nigel Laycock, Blackpool Victoria Hospital

I am delighted to provide a reference for Sarah.  We worked closely on a re-development project of a women and children’s out-patient department and also a special care baby unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. The project has been very successful with positive feedback on a regular basis from patients and staff. We had good communication with Sarah during the planning and the glasswork was completed on time. I have no hesitation in recommending her.  The standard of work was excellent.
