Two Glass Facades for The Minories retail and office complex, Birmingham

Created for the redevelopment of The Minories office and retail complex in the centre of Birmingham, the glass atrium I designed and fabricated draws on the name of the building for its inspiration. Mythical creatures are represented on both of the glass artworks at each end of the atrium, forming a feature at each end of the pedestrian thoroughfare.

I created each section of the artwork by both deep sandblasting the surfaces of the glass and hand applying coloured lustres.
