West window, Sunfields Methodist Church, Blackheath

Colour, light and texture were an important aspect of the commission to design and fabricate the West Window for the new Sunfields Methodist Church.

Through the use of sandblasting, I designed the window to have compelling tactile qualities, to be of interest to children in particular.  Drawing on the name of the church, the window harmonises with the dominant lines of the architecture.  The use of coloured resins is enhanced by both sandblasting and screen printed acid etch.
